Best fish and chips in town. They always give you a little bag of chips to eat while you wait for your order. Massive portions.

Everything a chip shop should be.
As you walk into this place, look to your right and you'll notice that Ossie's is one of the top 5 fish and chip shops in London and the SouthEast - and it's certainly the best I've ever been to.
The staff are friendly - sometimes disconcertingly so, and will, no matter how busy they are, take the time to ask how you are and how your day has been. I took my old man there once, and he was slightly puzzled to have made a new friend.
The portion sizes are generous leaning towards gluttony, and the food is excellent chip-shop fayre. Don't expect anything out of the ordinary, but they take the ordinary and do it very well.
I heartily recommend Ossie's as the place to get a little bite in Faversham - though get the small chips unless you want a BIG portion! -

Ossie's are the best Faversham fish and chip shop. There are many fish and chip shops in Faversham plenty of places to eat in fact but you can't beat Ossies for portion sizes and value. Clean premises. Hot food. No soggy chips here, and great fish with crispy batter. It always amazes me how they can stay one step ahead of this recession of ours with their portion sizes.

Ossie's rules ok! There are many fish and chip shops in Faversham - plenty of places to eat in fact - but you can't beat Ossies for portion sizes and value. Clean premises. Hot food. No soggy chips here. It always amazes me how they can stay one step ahead of this recession of ours with their portion sizes. I went in one day and asked for children's chips (as they are whopping servings) and one piece of fish. When I got home there would have been enough for two people, with two pieces of fish (and I know I was only charged one) Ossies prides itself on this kind of reputation so I am very happy to recommend this. Come to think of it if I didn't live in Faversham, I would probably come here just to get my hands on Ossie's chips. For those with children there is also always a happy smile and a chewy sweet (don't tell you dentist!)....
